The plain version of how money moves through this site. The tours and tickets themselves are compared across the Marrakech tickets, Marrakech tours and things to do in Marrakech pages, and the Marrakech city guide homepage ties them together.

The short version

Tour and ticket cards on this site link to GetYourGuide. The "see stays in this area" buttons on where to stay in Marrakech and on the neighbourhood guides go through Stay22, which forwards you to Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia or another booking site and pays a commission on the same terms. If you book after following one, the platform pays us out of its own margin. Your price is identical either way, and clicking costs you nothing.

Those two are the only networks live on this site. We are not a tour operator or a travel agency: we sell nothing, take no payments and act as nobody's agent.

Who does what

We compare listings and link out. The platform takes your payment, issues the voucher and handles customer service; the company named on the listing runs the actual tour, walk or transfer. If a departure is cancelled or a guide fails to show, that is settled between you, the platform and the operator under their policies. We have no standing in that conversation and can neither refund nor reschedule anything.

Monument admission is different. Where buying direct is the right move, at the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs ticket windows, or on the Jardin Majorelle and Musée Yves Saint Laurent websites, the page links there plainly, with no tracking and no commission to us.

What the commission does not buy

Placement, ratings, wording. Nobody has paid to appear on this site or to be described in a particular way, and no operator sees a page before it is published.

The test is on the pages themselves: several of the most-read pages here send you to an official ticket window that pays us nothing, and tell you to skip a guided option that would have paid. Where a tour is worth its markup we say why in the same plain terms, whether that is time saved, a room you cannot otherwise enter, or a driver on a road you would rather not drive.

Ratings and reviews

Every rating and review count shown on a tour card is the platform's own published number, read on the date printed with it. We calculate no rating of our own, this site carries no aggregate rating in its markup because it has no reviews, and we write no testimonials. Quoted reviews are short excerpts kept as published, with the source.

Prices

Tour prices here are the lowest adult rate on the listing at the last check, and monument prices are the official rate on the tariff page of the body that sets it, at the date shown. Both move: platforms reprice constantly and Moroccan monuments and museums revise admission by season and by year. Fares are set in dirhams and the dollar figure beside them is a conversion, so a shift in the exchange rate alone can change what you see here.

The figure that counts is the one on the checkout page, or on the board at the ticket window, before you pay. When it disagrees with ours, it is right and we would like to know.
